What's a Soul Tie?

Soul Ties are formed when 2 or more people become deeply bonded. This is an intensely close spiritual, physical, or emotional relationship. They can be good or bad, healthy or unhealthy. These are deep connected relationships that can create openings for footholds or stumbling.

Below are some categories that soul ties can be formed with or during. I challenge you to review and consider the soul ties you have created in your own life. Take a moment to evaluate if they are healthy or unhealthy. Should you move forward and continue to deepen these relationships? Or, should you cut ties and create boundaries to shift these unhealthy boundaries.

Sexual relationships: WOAH! We said the “S” word. For many of us raised in conservative homes, the “s” word is uncomfortable to talk about. But, it is important that we understand that these actions build deep relationships. Review the list below, consider your soul ties, and evaluate them.

Unrepented Sinful Companions: This sounds really rough, but, it is referring to the people who consistently participate in unwise behavior in our presence. When thinking about these people it doesn’t mean you have to end relationship with them. It may just be a situation where you need to establish boundaries so as not to put yourself in a place that isn’t engaging in that unwise behavior.
