BLACK

As our third season, Chapter 3, began to come to an end... It was apparent that a shift was coming. That Three Hearts Dance was taking steps to fulfill the vision that was only dreamed of in it's first season. Our Golden Hearts were no longer young and bubbly. They were now becoming matured physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

At The Local, a beautiful San Marco Cafe, just a few days after our end of season concert, the words "we are going black" actively fell off of my heart and thudded on the oh so cute farmhouse style table. With those words, the transference that was stirring was voiced and plans for the fresh perspective of THD began to make its shape.

B- Breaking Away

"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. The Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

- Matthew 6:6

L- Looking Deeper

"So I remained utterly silent, not even saying anything good. But my anguish increased, my heart grew hot within me. When I meditated, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue."

-Psalm 39: 2 & 3

A- Always Growing

"Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him, who is the head, this is Christ."

-Ephesians 4:14-15

C- Clarity

"My mouth will speak of wisdom; the meditation of my heart will give you understanding."

- Psalm 49:3

K- Kingdom Vision

"Jesus answered, 'My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world."

- John 18:36

Black. Over the next several weeks Three Hearts Dance, its directors, collaborators, and dancers will be going black in preparation for all that our next season will be. We will be stepping away from our online presence to tap into the spiritual presence of God. We encourage you to join us in this adventure by taking time away for yourself. You never know what we will find. We will see you in Fall 2018.

With Optimism, Artistry, and Love,
